Biodoxis was created in 2000 following a growing demand for one-off services of professional planning, management and follow-up of scientific studies of experimental pathology and for professional support in the field of histocytopathology.

The pooled skills and knowledge of its two founding partners, Nathalie Aubailly and Jean-Michel Caillaud, give Biodoxis a double expertise in human and animal biology.

Our expertise is particularly well developed in the fields of histopathology, oncology, animal pathology and in vivo studies.
Nathalie Aubailly nathalie.aubailly@biodoxis.com
Doctor of Veterinary Medicine with post-graduate training in biostatistics, laboratory animals and pathophysiology of the respiratory and circulatory systems. As a former collaborator of medical research teams, she has gained considerable professional experience in the cardiovascular field, with an emphasis on atherosclerosis.
Her main competence lies in the areas of animal research (animal models, transgenic animals, knock-out mice, surgery…), biostatistics (choice of the experimental plan, statistical analysis…) as well as in veterinary medicine (clinical studies, drafting of protocols…).
Jean-Michel Caillaud jean-michel.caillaud@biodoxis.com
Medical doctor and histopathologist with further education in animal and compared immunology. He has a substantial professional experience, both in histocytopathology and immunohistochemistry.
His fields of competence cover histocytopathology (human oncology, pathology of laboratory animals…), gene therapy (animal models, experimental pathology, restenosis, atherosclerosis…) and safety of medicines (toxicology, good laboratory practice, legislation).
Laura Caplier laura.caplier@biodoxis.com
Doctor in veterinary medicine with post-graduate training in veterinarian histopathlogy and additional certificate in animal experimentation. She contributes her knowledge in animal pathology, in particular in laboratory animal pathology , and has a particular interest in experimental pathology.
Her fields of expertise extend in veterinary medicine and surgery.
